HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. - Country music stars are mourning the death of Mindy McCready, who authorities believe committed suicide at her home Sunday in Heber Springs, Ark.

The 37-year-old suffered a single gunshot to the head.

Natalie Maines of The Dixie Chicks says it's, "Too much tragedy to overcome. R.I.P Mindy McCready."

Jason Aldean says, "My thoughts and prayers are with her 2 boys and her family."

Authorities in Heber Springs, Ark., say country singer Mindy McCready apparently killed herself on her front porch, the same place where her longtime boyfriend is believed to have committed suicide just weeks ago.

McCready hit the top of the country charts until personal problems sidetracked her career.

McCready's two young sons were in foster care at the time of her death.
