A worker at the Georgetown steel mill was injured Sunday afternoon while welding, according to Captain Nelson Brown, with the Georgetown Police Department.

We're told the flame blew back into the man's face.

He has been taken to the Augusta Burn Center in Georgia.

His condition has not been released.
