A man wanted by Horry County Police in connection to several shoplifting incidents has been arrested.

Michael Steven Knarr, 41, was booked at the J Reuben Long Detention Center on 8 charges of shoplifting.

He was held on $42,500 bond and was released on Saturday.

Detectives believe the approximate value of the stolen merchandise to be $15,000.
