High pressure off the Southeast coast will bring in a much warmer airmass to the Carolinas. Highs will hit the 80s area wide, but windy conditions will be around into the afternoon. An approaching cold front will stall across the Carolinas Friday keeping a slight chance for a few showers/storm thruogh Friday afternoon and evening. The front will push back to our North Saturday keeping the area with warm air in place and only a stray shower or storm possible in North Carolina. Another front will drift back through the area Sunday bringing in another chance for a few showers/storms and a noticeable cool down heading into the beginning of next week.
Today: Morning clouds will give way to partly sunny skies. Warm, windy conditions expected all day with even a slight chance for a late afternoon/ evening storm possible along the Pee Dee and Borderbelt. Highs- Low/Mid 80s.
Tonight: Partly cloudy with a chance for a shower or storm. Lows: Low/Mid 60s.
Friday: Partly sunny and warm with only a chance for a few showers/storms. Highs: Low/Mid 80s.
