Bullying is a large issue in schools and online right now.

A group of non-profits from the Pee Dee joined together to fight bullying for the 2013 "I Will Not Be Bullied" workshop.

"It's enough, I'm tired of seeing people bullied for no reason," said Anteni Taylor.

They held a workshop that featured skits, poems, and demonstrations of what bullying can do.

"Kids that are coming along now are dealing with things at ages that we never encountered, so I think it's important to have events such as this," said Toni Davis.

Organizers and presenters just wanted children to know they're not alone.

"Either you were bullied as a child or you know a child that's going through a situation and you can feel for that child," said Avette Brown.

Brown's non-profit Burgeon Empowerment, LLC co-hosted the event with Fatherhood and Families Engagement Program.
