Thursday afternoon a motorcyclist died in a crash in the Gresham community of Marion County.
Marion County Coroner Jerry Richardson identifies the biker as Ryan Fogan, 28, from Marion.
South Carolina Highway Patrol says Fogan ran off the right side of the road on Highway 9 near Terrell's Bay Road, hit a ditch, and was thrown from the bike.
Troopers say he was not wearing a helmet.
