High pressure remains in control today keeping plenty of sunshine in the forecast with some high clouds this afternoon.
Temps will once again reach the mid/upper 50s for the afternoon highs. Overnight clouds will increase as our next rain maker approaches the Southeast. Cool air will wedge in from the Northeast keeping the inland areas much cooler than the Grand Strand for Friday afternoon.
Rain will over run a warm front that will be hung up to our South Friday. Temps will struggle to reach the upper 40s Inland and low 50s across the Grand Strand. The warm front will move through overnight keeping the temps on the rise and rain chances around as well. Saturday will remain unsettled with periods of rain as the cold front moves through by early evening.
