First Citizens Bank on Hoffmeyer Road in Florence was robbed Friday afternoon.

Officers say a man walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding cash.

The teller gave the man the money and he left on foot, but police believe he had a getaway car waiting nearby.

Police say he's suspected in other bank robberies in the state, including one in Summerville last week.

If you have any information on this crime, you're asked to call Florence police at (843) 665-3191.
