Conway police responded to shots fired near South Conway Elementary School, at 315 Jordan Circle, about 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to police spokeswoman Catina Hipp.
The school was locked down, but for less than ten minutes.
Hipp says a vehicle was shot at.
No one was hurt.
Police canvassed Creel Street Wednesday afternoon, looking for shell casings.
Police have not released any additional information.
