UPDATE
A woman suffered a gunshot wound after her gun accidentally discharged while she was driving, according to North Myrtle Beach spokesperson Pat Dowling.
While driving, the woman dug in her purse and a gun inside fired, hitting her in the leg, Dowling said.
The woman drove to the North Myrtle Beach Police Department for aid, Dowling added.
