A man, 23, and a pregnant woman, 32, were shot at an apartment on Carver Circle in Florence around 11:39 Thursday night.
Deputies on scene say the woman is eight months pregnant and she was shot a few times. She had surgery and is in stable condition Friday morning, according to Brett Camp, Florence County Sheriff's Office. We are told the baby is OK.
Three children were inside the home at the time of the shooting, but they weren't hurt.
Camp says they're looking for one suspect in the shooting.
Florence police and the West Florence Fire Department helped secure the scene until deputies arrived.
Forensic investigators questioned neighbors, took pictures of the crime scene and dusted for fingerprints at the home.
