A judge found a Darlington County man guilty of killing his cousin Wednesday.

The judge stated that Douglas Gregg probably wouldn't have committed the crime if it wasn't for his drug addiction.

He was arrested last June for the death of Levi Gregg.

Gregg is also charged in the death of Moses Smith in July 2003, but he hasn't been tried yet for that crime.

For Levi Gregg's death, he was sentenced to life in prison.
