Horry County police say a man who was stabbed during a fight shot the man who stabbed him Friday afternoon.
Police say two men were involved in a fight at a home on Nichols Highway near Happy Homes Baptist Church about 12:40 p.m.
The fight began over a property dispute and one of the men was stabbed and the other was shot, police said.
The two men were the only ones involved in the fight.
Police also responded to a home on Enoch Road near Horry Road in connection to the shooting and stabbing.
We spoke with a witness, who asked to remain anonymous. She said she was at a home on Enoch Road when a relative showed up with a gunshot wound to his knee. She said her relative got into a fight with another man on Nichols Highway and was shot. He said he was on his way to the hospital when they ran out of gas in front of her house. She said an ambulance arrived and took him to the hospital.
Both men are in good condition, police said. No arrests have been made at this time.
