High pressure over the Atlantic, known as the Bermuda High, will continue to bring typical July weather to the area. The forecast will still have a chance for scattered showers and storms, mainly in the afternoon and evening hours. Slow moving storms will create localized flooding concerns and ponding on the roads. Strong storms with intense lightning will possible along. Isolated severe storms can't be ruled out. A cold front will approach the Southeast by the end of the week. This will increase the chance for scattered rain and storms as we head into the weekend.
Temperatures will start each day in the low/mid 70s and warm quickly into the upper 80s to low/mid 90s though the end of the week.
