High pressure will build north of the area and off of the East Coast late today. This will bring more sunshine today and a warm up to your Tuesday and Wednesday forecast. A cold front will approach the Carolinas late Wednesday into early Thursday to increase the cloud cover and bring in a chance for a few showers and even a storm or two. Thursday afternoon will be dry with clouds lingering around thanks to the front stalling just to our south. The front will push back to the North Friday increasing the clouds once again and even returning a slight chance for rain. A stronger cold front will move in Saturday. This will bring in more clouds and increased rain chances, and even a chance for storms. Behind the front, a shot of cooler air will move in for the end of the weekend.
