Gang members indicted

NewsChannel 15 has learned that five accused gang members in Florence have been indicted by the state grand jury.

One of the men indicted is Nicholas Freeman, 21.

Police charged him with ordering his fellow gang members to shoot a Papa John's delivery driver.

The driver was stripped, shot and left on the side of the road, but he did survive.

According to the indictments, Freeman is charged with conspiracy to committ kidnapping, soliticing a person to participate in criminal gang activity, false testimony under oath, and burglary first degree.

Antonio Melton, Rodrigues Lewis, Archie Lee Wilder and Johnell Richardson are also charged in the indictment.
