Three in-state showdowns highlight Coastal Carolina's 2013 football schedule released on Monday.  The Chanticleers will open the season on Saturday, August 31st in Orangeburg against South Carolina State.  The Chanticleers are 2-0 lifetime against the Bulldogs winning in 2005 and 2006.  CCU's home opener is set for Saturday, September 7th against Furman.  The Chanticleers scored an overtime win over the Paladins last year in Greenville.  Two new non-conference opponents will come to Brooks Stadium.  Hampton, a traditional MEAC power, comes to Conway on September 21st and startup program Charlotte comes to the Grand Strand on November 2nd.  Coastal's regular season finale is the first ever meeting between the Chanticleers and the South Carolina Gamecocks on November 23rd.
