A Myrtle Beach man called police because he had been robbed and police arrested him for Simple Possession of Marijuana, according to a police report.
Samuel Krovitsky told police he drove to meet a man off Seaboard Street when the two began to argue about a drug transaction they were attempting, the report stated.
The argument led to a fight and the man grabbed Krovitsky's wallet and cell phone and ran off.
Officers searched for the man and only found Krovitsky's cell phone.
Krovitsky then ran over to his car, told the person waiting in his car to get out and help him "catch this guy," the report said.
According to the report, the person in the car did not want to get involved and questioned Krovitsky as to why there were there in the first place.
When officers arrived, they questioned Krovitsky and asked if he had anything illegal on him, which he said no but then removed a small container of a green substance from his front left pocket that he said was a spice, the report added.
The officer determined the substance was marijuana and Krovitsky was arrested and taken to the Myrtle Beach jail.
