Rodney Gilmore, 39, of Conway has been fired from Horry County Fire Rescue after being arrested on Friday.

Gilmore was charged with 3rd degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.

The 13-year-old victim said that between June 10, 2012 and January 11 of this year, Gilmore "forcefully" touched her chest several times, and touched her bottom.

The girl said she has been uncomfortable around Gilmore and is starting to become depressed.

Gilmore was booked in to the J. Reuben Detention Center on Friday morning and was released three hours later on a $5,000 bond.

Gilmore was hired as a Firefighter EMT by Horry County Fire Rescue on July 29, 2002.

He was terminated on Thursday.
