2003 WPDE Zoneman winner Lawrence Timmons, who attended Wilson High in Florence, South Carolina, led the Pittsburgh Steelers with nine tackles in a 16-14 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, in NFL action on Sunday. Timmons also forced Eagles QB Michael Vick to fumble, resulting in a turnover.

Rookie Josh Norman out of Coastal Carolina made four tackles for the Carolina Panthers in a 16-12 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Fellow Panther and ex-CCU fullback Mike Tolbert had one carry for three yards.
