Cheraw has a young offense with only four starters back from last year's team. Look for Justin Chapman to get the bulk of the carries and WR Deion Sanders will give the Braves a big time air threat. Defense is where Cheraw will shine with nine starters back.  Cheraw, Central of Pageland and Chesterfield are all in the same region this year. Fans are in for quite a treat with those three powerhouses battling for the Class 4A Region 4 title.

Rich's Thoughts

Justin Chapman will continue the tradition of great Cheraw running backs.  I'm glad that all three Chesterfield county schools are in the same region.  I'm not happy that they are in the Upper State bracket.  I wish they were in the Lower State and I wish that NewsChannel 15 was on cable in all three great towns.  The folks in Cheraw are so loyal to the End Zone, and I hope they can figure out a way to watch us.  The good news is that they can always see their highlights right here on CarolinaLive.com
