Dustin Johnson has turned to his past to find his caddie for 2012. Bobby Brown has been re-hired as Johnson's caddie. Brown was fired by Johnson in the spring and replaced by Fred Couples longtime caddie Joe La Cava. Johnson and La Cava won the Barclay's in the fall, but La Cava left Johnson's bag to become Tiger Woods new full time caddie.
Johnson and Brown won four PGA Tour events, but were marred by an 82 in the 2010 US Open 4th Round, a two stroke penalty at the PGA Championship that cost him a chance at his first major and a missed tee time that resulted in another penalty.
“I am really excited to have Bobby back on the bag,” Johnson said in an article on the Golf Channel's website. “He and I have always been tight and I appreciate his work ethic. At the end of the day, it’s about results, and four of my five wins came with Bobby at my side. We’re both expecting big things in 2012.”
