Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jerome Simpson caught a 15 yard TD pass from Andy Dalton in a 24-17 win over the Tennessee Titans. Simpson, Coastal Carolina's all-time leading receiver made three catches for 43 yards. Teammate Robert Geathers, Jr., who played at Carvers Bay High, had three tackles for the Bengals.

Former Marlboro County High star Robert Ayers, a 2003 WPDE All-Zone selection, had one tackle and one pass defended for the Denver Broncos in a 38-24 win over the Oakland Raiders.

Ex-Lamar standout John Abraham had one tackle for the Atlanta Falcons in a 31-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

Mike Tolbert out of Coastal Carolina led the San Diego Chargers with 83 rushing yards on 19 carries with one touchdown in a 45-38 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Tolbert also caught four passes for 59 yards, including a 27 yard reception.

2003 WPDE Zoneman winner Lawrence Timmons, who played at Wilson High, made two tackles for the Pittsburgh Steelers in a 23-20 Sunday night loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
