Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons out of Wilson High in Florence, South Carolina, made five tackles, one for loss, had a pass defended and a quarterback hit in the Steelers 38-17 win over the Tennessee Titans in NFL Week 5 action on Sunday.

Coastal Carolina's all-time leading receiver, Jerome Simpson, had four catches for 40 yards for the Cincinnati Bengals in a 30-20 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Teammate Robert Geathers, Jr. from Carvers Bay High had one tackle.

Another former Coastal Carolina player, Mike Tolbert of the San Diego Chargers had five carries for 24 yards and also made three receptions for 25 yards in a 29-24 win over the Denver Broncos.
