Bishopville, South Carolina native Tommy "Two Gloves" Gainey is second on the leaderboard at the PGA Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, North Carolina. Gainey shot 1-under par 69 on Saturday. Webb Simpson is the leader by two strokes at 15-under for the tournament.

Simpson carded a 6-under par 64 to grab the lead. Gainey, now 13-under for the tournament, entered the third round leading by three shots. He led or shared the lead after each of the first two rounds. The Wyndham Championship is the final event before the PGA Tour playoffs begin.
