Another winning season. How's that for sticking my neck out? I can't get over the fact that they lost their entire defense. But they always play with guts and enthusiasm at Lamar. That's why I never count them out. The Silver Foxes have not missed the playoffs in 18 years. They will continue the streak but will be hard pressed to match last year's 11 wins.

Rich's Thoughts

I'm pulling for Lamar. They've had two tragedies over the past year with the loss of assistant coach Boyd (JR's son) and an incoming freshman dying from heat exhaustion at the beginning of camp. Lamar is a tight knit community and they will bond together through tough times.
