SC Sports Talk and Phil Kornblutt report that Hemingway WR/DB Jabril Solomon has given a verbal commitment to play for the East Carolina Pirates.

  Solomon was the area's second leading receiver in 2010 with 51 catches for 1142 yards and 15 TD's.  He averaged over 22 yards a catch.  On the defensive side of the ball, Solomon led the area with 10 interceptions.   He becomes the second rising senior from the Zone Nation to commit to a Division I school.   Just one day earlier, Kwinton Smith gave a verbal commitment to play for Steve Spurrier and the South Carolina Gamecocks.
