The Clemson Tigers blitzed the 22nd ranked Florida State Seminoles from the opening tip, getting out to a 22-6 lead, on the way to a 62-44 blowout win in men's college basketball at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson. Clemson was led by Jerai Grant with 14 points and Demontez Stitt with a dozen.
It is Clemson's first win over a ranked opponent under new head coach Brad Brownell. The Tigers now have a 15-6 overall record and are 4-3 in the ACC. The Seminoles ended Duke's undefeated season earlier this month. But Saturday's loss to Clemson knocks FSU out of a first place conference tie with the Blue Devils.
