Three NASCAR legends were inducted to the National Motorsports Press Association on Saturday night in Charlotte. Dale Jarrett, Waddell Wilson and Tom Higgins were honored at the Hilton Charlotte University Place.

Jarrett won a points championship on NASCAR's highest level and took the checkers in three Daytona 500's. Wilson was considered the best engine builder of his era and was the crew chief for three Daytona 500 winners back in the 1980's. Higgins is a retired racing writer for the Charlotte Observer.
