Former Coastal Carolina linebacker Maurice Simpkins had a full time job as a computer programmer and played indoor football for the past five years, but never gave up on his NFL dream.  This Sunday, that dream will come true.

Simpkins was signed to the Green Bay Packers active roster today after a number of injuries to Green Bay's defensive personnel. Simpkins spent the past four weeks on the Packers practice squad and is expected to make his NFL debut this sunday when Green Bay travels to the Washington Redskins. The 28 year old rookie is expected to play on special teams this Sunday.
