The Surfside Beach Dixie Juniors Baseball team won the World Series Championship in Dothan, Alabama Wednesday night.

Surfside lost the first championship game to the Petal, Mississippi team 4-1. They then beat that team 11-4 to win the championship in the next game.

Surfside Beach made it undefeated to the finals in the double elimination tournament. They faced the Mississippi team on Monday, beating them 7-0 in that game.
