COASTAL CAROLINA 14 HIGH POINT 4

Coastal Carolina extended their win streak to seven with a 14-4 win over High Point on Saturday at Watson Stadium in Conway. It was also the Chanticleers 26th straight Big South Conference home win. Jose Iglesias drove in four runs and CCU took advantage of five High Point errors. The Chants record is now 26-5 overall and 7-0 in the Big South. CCU will try to complete a three game sweep Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Watson Stadium.

VANDERBILT 8 SOUTH CAROLINA 2

The Vanderbilt Commodores beat the South Carolina Gamecocks 8-2 on Saturday in Nashville. Vandy got out to a 6-0 lead and never looked back while pounding out fourteen hits. The Gamecocks are now 24-7 overall and 8-3 in the SEC. The rubber game of this series is set for 2 p.m. EST Sunday at Hawkins Field in Nashville.

CLEMSON 11 DUKE 5 (11 Innings)

The 11th ranked Clemson Tigers have evened their series at one game apiece against the Duke Blue Devils. Clemson scored six times in the top of the 11th inning on Saturday to beat Duke 11-5. Jeff Schaus led Clemson going 2-for-6 with a homer and 4 RBI. Tigers improve to 23-9 overall and 10-4 in the ACC. Clemson will wrap up the series on Sunday at 1 p.m. in Durham.
