The Carolina Forest boys basketball team beat the Conway Tigers 45-43 in Conway tonight. Daquan Page scored 13 points with 18 rebounds and Chris Ford added 13 points and 16 rebounds for the Panthers.

Carolina Forest got out to an 11-0 lead in the first quarter. Conway rallied to cut the Panthers lead to one in the fourth quarter but Carolina Forest hung on for a two point victory. The win secures a number 3 seed in the playoffs for Carolina Forest. Conway was knocked out of post season consideration with the loss. The Carolina Forest boys finished the regular season 12-10 overall and 5-5 in class 4A region VI.

A packed house at the Conway gym witnessed the only double-header match-up of the night with all other area games either postponed or cancelled because of snow.

In the early game, the Carolina Forest girls beat the Conway Lady Tigers on a Julia Crews buzzer beater 44-42. The Carolina Forest girls are also playoff bound finishing the regular season with an 18-6 overall record and a 7-3 region slate.
