Jasmine Phillips is on her way to the SEC.  Following a season of junior college basketball at Louisburg, Phillips has signed to play for Holly Warlick and the Tennessee Lady Volunteers.

Phillips averaged 16 points and 6 rebounds a game at Louisburg College in North Carolina, helping the team to a 30-2 record and earning JUCO Division II All-American honors.  In 2011, she became the first Hartsville athlete to win a Hoop Zone award when she paced the Red Foxes with 21 points and 13 rebounds a game.  Phillips joins a long list of former WPDE Miss Hoop Zone's to play Division I basketball incuding LaTangela Atkinson (North Carolina/WNBA), Sasha Reaves (NC State), Ashley Clarke (East Carolina), Christina Dewitt (North Carolina) and Khadijah Sessions (South Carolina).

Phillips intended on playing for the University of North Carolina out of high school, but instead went to the SEC and the Lady Vols.
