Marion 66 Timberland 48
Chris Washington had 19 points and Marqui McKelvy added 18 points and 12 rebounds to get the Marion Swamp Foxes a 66-48 win over Timberland and a trip to the 2A state semifinals for the first time in school history. The Swamp Foxes set the tone early and built a 34-20 halftime lead. The Wolves would rally in the third quarter to cut the deficit to seven. McKelvy made a basket late in the third quarter and fell to the ground, but was able to return to the game. Darryl Kelly was the third Swamp Fox in double figures with 13.
North Charleston 61 Mullins 57 (OT)
North Charleston rallied from 13 points down in the fourth quarter to force overtime and prevail in a 2A quarterfinal victory over the Auctioneers. Mullins raced out to an 8-0 lead and a 16-4 lead at the end of one quarter, but North Charleston was able to mount a comeback and end the Aucs season. Darnell Coleman had 25 points for Mullins, while James Brown led North Charleston with 23. The Auctioneers finish the season with a 23-3 record.
