Five local players signed college letters of intent after National Signing Day, highlighted by three WPDE All-Zoners. Three Myrtle Beach Seahawks signed with Louisburg, a junior college in North Carolina. Kerry Chestnut who primarily played at defensive end for the Seahawks will shift to outside linebacker in college. Chestnut will be joined at Louisburg by a pair of Wilson's, defensive back Lavandrick and wide receiver Jaquan. Lavandrick Wilson had two interceptions in his senior season, while Jaquan Wilson had seven TD catches in 10 games.
