The Saint James Sharks 2011 state championship baseball team was honored in Columbia by the South Carolina State House.  Returning players from last year's team and head coach Robbie Centracchio traveled to the Midlands where they were hosted by SC Senator Ray Cleary, Senator Luke Rankin, and SC Representative Nelson Hardwick.  The team also paid a visit to the University of South Carolina's baseball facility, where they saw former teammate and Gamecocks freshman outfielder Tanner English.

Saint James beat Union 4-3 in Sumter to win the 3A state championship on May 21st.
