From WACH-TV:
South Carolina Gamecocks safety DeVonte Holloman was arrested at a safety checkpoint in downtown Columbia Friday night. The 20-year old was charged with a DUI, according to a South Carolina Department of Public Safety spokesman.
The checkpoint was part of a crackdown on DUI's and seat belt enforcement, called Operation Downtown. Holloman was stopped at the intersection of George Rogers Boulevard and Bluff Road near Williams-Brice Stadium.
Holloman started in ten of the Gamecocks fourteen games last season. He was the team's third leading tackler with 69.
