Saint James Gunnar Heidt was named 3A player of the year
Fourteen local players were named to the South Carolina Baseball Association's All-State teams. Topping the list are four members of the 3A state champion Saint James Sharks. Sharks shortstop Gunnar Heidt was named the 3A player fo the year and coach Robbie Centracchio of Saint James was named the 3A coach of the year.
