The North All-Stars defeated the South All-Stars 23-6 in the SCADA North-South All-Star game on Saturday at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach. The South All-Stars committed six turnovers, losing five fumbles and had one pass picked off.

Spartanburg's Daquan Brown intercepted a pass and returned it 39 yards for a touchdown to give the North stars a 16-0 lead. Berea's Edward Williams ran for a fourth quarter TD to ice the game for the North squad. The only points of the day for the South came on North Augusta's Loranzo Hammonds' TD toss to Jonathan Rumph of Brookland-Cayce. The South missed the extra point.

Sixteen players from the Pee Dee and Grand Strand played for the South All-Stars. Lineman Terrence Jenerette from Carvers Bay was named the South Defensive MVP. Wilson's John Israel caught two passes for the South.

The North All-Stars have won five in a row, ten of the last 13 meetings and hold a 36-25-2 lifetime advantage in the series.
