The Surfside Beach Dixie Majors team beat Nachez, Mississippi 10-4 on day two at the Dixie World Series in Gonzales, Louisiana. After losing on day one to Troup County National (GA), the South Carolina 11-12 year old champs were led by Coner Sloan with two hits and three RBI. Harrison Vanlandingham and Robert Gilhuly each knocked in two runs apiece for Surfside.

Surfside Beach scored eight times in the fourth inning and never looked back to eliminate Mississippi from the Dixie World Series. Next up for Surfside, a losers bracket game on Monday against Texarkana West, Arkansas at 7pm (EST).
