KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to terms with free agent linebacker Corey Mays.

The team announced the deal Friday. Mays played in 32 games, including one start, during two seasons with New England and Cincinnati. He tallied 16 tackles, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and 38 special teams tackles.

The former Notre Dame player and second-team All-American entered the NFL in 2006 as a rookie free agent with the Patriots.
