Hartsville head coach Jeff Calabrese tells WPDE's Mark Haggard that Red Foxes wide reciever Trey Gattison will sign with Coastal Carolina on National Signing Day this Wednesday.

Gattison is a two time WPDE All-Zone wideout who was second in the area with 41 catches for 833 yards and 16 TD's.  He was a key part of the 3A state championship Red Foxes squad that went a perfect 15-0.  In his junior campaign, he was the leading receiver with 46 catches for 1090 yards and 15 scores.  What makes his numbers even more impressive is the fact that Hartsville was primarily a run team.  Over two years, over 35 percent of his catches were touchdowns.

Gattison is the second player with local ties to be a part of Joe Moglia's second recruiting class at CCU.  Aynor offensive lineman Ashton Culick will be a preferred walk-on.
