Former Socastee High fullback P.J. Brave will sign a letter of intent to play at Coastal Carolina, according to his high school head coach Tim Renfrow. Brave is slated to ink with the Chants on Thursday.

The 211 pound Brave is a former WPDE All-Zone selection. He ran for more than 1,000 yards his senior season for the Socastee Braves. He spent one year at Hargrave Military Academy, a prep school in Virginia. Brave will be the twelfth member of CCU's 2012 signing class and the first signee from the state of South Carolina under new head coach Joe Moglia.
