The South Carolina Gamecocks beat the Arkansas Razorbacks 75-54 in Columbia on Saturday. Brian Richardson came off the bench to lead the Gamecocks with 20 points.
South Carolina trailed 15-3 at the start. But they scored 40 of the next 51 points to turn the game into a blowout.
Former WPDE Mister Hoop Zone winner Eric Smith from Mullins High scored seven points for South Carolina.
Coach Frank Martin's Gamecocks now have an overall record of 12-7, 2-4 in the SEC.
The Gamecocks travel to Florida on Wednesday, January 30. The game is scheduled for 8 p.m. and will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
