Myrtle Beach's area hair salons will be cutting for a cause this Monday from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.

Cheveux Hair Salon, Hair by Orlando, Lee Kirk at Salon One, and The Strand College of Hair Design will be hosting a Cut-A-Thon to support our wounded veterans.

For a suggested donation of just $20 for adults and $10 for children, you can get a great new style or refresh your current style all while supporting our veterans. All donations raised at the Myrtle Beach Cut-A-Thon will benefit the Special Operations Wounded Warrior organization.

Founded by a group of U.S. military special forces veterans, local businessmen and avid outdoorsman, SOWW began in order to offer thanks and fellowship to a select group of men and women of our special operations forces who have sustained wounds in battle and have received the country's prestigious Purple Heart Medal.
