Joe Moglia begins his second season with Coastal Carolina with high expectations.  Moglia was 8-5 with a share of the Big South title and the school's first ever post-season win in his debut in FCS football.  The Chanticleers had the first of 14 practice sessions on Tuesday with the Spring Game set for Saturday, April 13th at 1pm.

Redshirt sophomore Alex Ross is the starting quarterback heading into spring drills.  Ross had one start last year, a win against Gardner-Webb, and is ready to take over for the graduated Aramis Hillary.  The defense is led by reigning Big South Defensive Player of the Year Quinn Backus, a linebacker from Greenwood, SC.
