Nine St. James High athletes signed college letters of intent on Friday.

Nine student athletes signed college letters of intent at St. James High on Friday afternoon in Murrells Inlet. The talented group included three sets of twins.

Twin brothers Codi and Derek Rothermel inked wrestling scholarships with Newberry College. Twin sisters Taylor and Tiffany Marsh signed soccer scholarships with Coker College. State Wrestling Champion Austin Brown signed with The Citadel. His twin sister, Erin, signed a softball scholarship to play at UNC-Wilmington in November.

In baseball, Preston Lane signed with Wingate and Trey Merritt with Brunswick Community College. In Women's Soccer, Sarina Way and Caitlin Kirby joined the Marsh twins, signing with Coker College.
