The selection committee has picked the 68 team field for the 2013 NCAA Basketball Tournament. The Louisville Cardinals are the number one overall seed. Louisville will play the winner of the North Carolina A&T-Liberty game in round two of the Midwest Region.

Liberty defeated Coastal Carolina in the opening round of the Big South Conference Tournament. The Flames went on to win the tournament championship, despite losing 20 games during the regular season.

The Kansas Jayhawks are the top seed in the South Region. The Indiana Hoosiers are the number one seed in the East, and the Gonzaga Bulldogs are tops in the West.

No team from the state of South Carolina made the field.

The Final Four will be held April 6-8 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
