Conway pitcher Grant Holmes has given a verbal commitment to play college baseball in the SEC for the Florida Gators.  Tigers baseball coach Anthony Carroll confirmed the news to WPDE's Mark Haggard.  Grant, the younger brother of Gamecocks three year starting pitcher Colby Holmes, has two more years of high school baseball at Conway High before heading to the college ranks.  He's expected to sign a national letter of intent in November.  Holmes is a right handed pitcher who's fastball is clocked in the low 90s.
